Three things the table can't show. A buy and a later sell are two trades, so a round trip pays Fomo's fee twice. Some tokens carry their own contract fee, set by the token's creator and separate from Fomo's fee. And a confirmed blockchain transfer can't be reversed, so match the network before you send. Small trades on Solana cost more
Solana is the network where Fomo covers gas, priority fees and token rent. But small trades on its lowest-fee route have minimum fees:
- under 5 USDC: 0.10 USDC
- 5 to 47.50 USDC: 2%
- 47.50 to 190 USDC: 0.95 USDC
- 190 USDC and up: 0.50%
Other Solana routes charge 0.50% with a 0.95 USDC minimum, and the route can change from trade to trade. On the lowest-fee route, a 20 USDC buy pays 0.40 USDC (2%), and a 100 USDC buy pays 0.95 USDC (0.95%). These are the rates before any code; Fomo doesn't say how the 10% discount applies to the minimums.
Is there a minimum deposit on Fomo?
Fomo's help center doesn't list a general minimum deposit for USDC or for cards. The minimums it does list:
- Robinhood Chain deposit: at least 0.50 USDG. It converts into your Solana USDC cash balance. Don't send USDC to Robinhood Chain.
- Selling: at least 2 USDC on most networks, 5 USDC on Ethereum. Smaller leftovers ("dust") are hidden by default.
- Perps balance: at least 5 USDC to move in and 2 USDC to move out. Both moves are free and instant.
- Perps position: at least 15 USDC.

One month on Fomo: a worked example
Say you trade $2,000 in a month: eight spot trades of $250, four buys and four sells. Each trade is above 190 USDC, so the standard rate applies. Only Fomo's fee is counted here.
On Solana:
- No code: 0.50% of $2,000 = $10.00
- Any referral code: 0.45% = $9.00
- Code DEAL: $9.00, then 12.5% back ($1.125) = $7.875, about $7.88
- Network fees: none for you, because Fomo pays them on Solana
On Base: Fomo's fee is the same: $10.00, $9.00, or about $7.88 after the DEAL cashback. On top of that, each of the eight trades adds a network fee, shown in its quote. The cashback counts Fomo's fee only, not network fees.
Either way, DEAL makes Fomo's fee about 21% lower than with no code. The cashback covers spot and perps on every network, including Arc and Robinhood Chain. It's paid monthly whatever the amount, and weekly at the weekend once your unpaid balance reaches 50 USDC. The monthly schedule kicks off in the first week of November 2026. Ways to pay less on Fomo
- Use a referral code at sign-up. That's the only moment one can be added; an existing account can't take a code.
- Skip tiny Solana trades. On the lowest-fee route, trades under 190 USDC pay minimums that can reach 2% or more.
- Count both sides. A buy and a sell are two trades, so ten round trips mean twenty fees.
- Know that majors cost 0.05%. BTC, ETH, SOL and other select majors carry Fomo's lowest fee, with a minimum on small trades.
A word on risk

Questions
Does it cost anything to open a Fomo account?
No. Signing up with an Apple ID or Google account is free, and Fomo sets up your Solana and EVM wallets. Fomo's fees start with your first trade.
What is the Fomo app minimum deposit?
Fomo's help center doesn't list a general minimum for USDC or card deposits. Robinhood Chain deposits need at least 0.50 USDG, and any sell must be at least 2 USDC (5 USDC on Ethereum).
Can a referral code be added after sign-up?
No. There's no field for it later, and a recorded referrer can't be changed. If you signed up through fomo.family/r/deal but no referrer was recorded, contact support in the app: Profile > Settings > Help and Support > Contact Support.
Does Fomo pay cashback?
