Fees: what one trade costs
A $1,000 Solana trade:
- Fomo: $5.00, or $4.50 with any referral code. Gas is covered. With code DEAL, about $0.56 of that comes back as cashback, so about $3.94 net (Fomo: trading fees).
- Axiom: $10 at 1%, or $9.50 net at the entry volume tier, plus the priority fee and bribe you set (Axiom: fees, Solana fees). Axiom's docs don't say how its 10% referral discount combines with tier cashback.
Small trades are different: a 20 USDC trade on Fomo's Solana route costs 2% (0.40 USDC) because of the minimum fee, more than Axiom's 1%. Axiom still adds priority fees.
Where Axiom is stronger
- Built for speed on desktop: limit orders, wallet tracking, X monitoring and a new-token feed.
- Lower fees for very active traders (down to 0.75% net), and a 0.01% fee on perps (Axiom: perps).
- Up to 50x on perps.
Where Fomo is stronger
- Phone app and web, with Apple or Google sign-in and no seed phrase.
- 7 chains in one balance; card and Apple Pay deposits; US bank withdrawals.
- No gas to manage on Solana.
- Lower spot fee: 0.45% with a code, against 0.75% to 1% on Axiom.
- Stock, index and commodity perps outside the US (Fomo: perps).
Safety on both
Both are non-custodial: you hold the keys and can export them. Neither is a licensed exchange, and on-chain trades can't be reversed. Both list very new, high-risk tokens. Use two-factor login on the account you sign in with, and only trade what you can afford to lose. More: Is the Fomo app legit? and our Fomo app review.
Choosing Fomo? Use a referral code
Every real Fomo code gives 10% off (0.45% per trade). Code DEAL also returns 12.5% of your Fomo fees in USDC, paid by the code owner, so your net fee is about 0.394% (DEAL cashback). Open fomo.family/r/deal before you sign up.
