How Fomo invites work
- Every Fomo user has an invite link: fomo.family/r/ plus their username. The username is also the invite code.
- Opening someone's link before you sign up shows "[username] invited you to join fomo". For DEAL: "deal invited you to join fomo".
- When you then create your account on that same phone, Fomo records that user as your referrer. If a code box appears on the sign-up screen, you can type the code there instead.
- Your discount: 10% off trading fees, applied automatically to every trade. The person who invited you earns 25% of your trading fees from Fomo, out of the fee you already pay (Fomo: how referral codes and fee discounts work).

Why an invite doesn't stick
- Link opened on a laptop, account made on a phone: open it on the phone you'll trade on.
- Another invite opened later: the last invite before sign-up counts. Open fomo.family/r/deal again, last.
- Account already existed: invites only work for new accounts; there's no field to add one later.
- Link opened first and still no referrer: contact support in the app (Profile > Settings > Help and Support > Contact Support). A recorded referrer can't be changed.

Why invite with DEAL
