What it's like to use
- Sign-up: Apple ID or Google account. Fomo creates a Solana wallet and an EVM wallet for you. No seed phrase (Fomo: what is fomo).
- Funding: bank-issued debit card, Apple Pay (up to $2,500 a day for token purchases), Pay with Coinbase, or USDC sent on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad or Ethereum (USDG on Robinhood Chain). Card options depend on your country (deposits and withdrawals).
- Trading: one cash balance across all 7 chains, no bridging. Lists for majors, trending, most held, new tokens and gainers, with TradingView charts.
- Social: a live feed of trades and posts, following, and a profit leaderboard (Fomo: the social feed, leaderboard). There's no copy trading (details).
- Cashing out: to a US bank account after an ID check by Fomo's partner Spritz, or USDC to any wallet or exchange.
Fees
- Spot: 0.50% per trade, on buys and sells. Any referral code cuts it to 0.45%. Select majors (BTC, ETH, SOL and others) are 0.05%.
- Small Solana trades have minimums: 0.10 USDC under 5 USDC, 2% from 5 to 47.50 USDC, 0.95 USDC up to 190 USDC, then 0.50%.
- Gas: Fomo covers it on Solana. On the other chains you pay network fees, shown before you confirm.
- Perps: 0.05% to Fomo at open and at close, plus Hyperliquid's fee and hourly funding.
Full breakdown: Fomo fees and Fomo perps fees (Fomo: trading fees).
Safety
Fomo doesn't hold your money: the wallet is non-custodial, its key is split so no single party (Fomo included) can rebuild it, and you can export the key at any time (Fomo: how fomo keeps your crypto secure). But no regulator licenses Fomo, trades can't be reversed, and your Apple or Google login guards the wallet. Full answer: Is the Fomo app legit?
What users say
- App Store and Google Play: high averages, 4.8 (App Store) and 4.7 (Google Play), mostly from star-only ratings.
- Written reviews are more mixed. In the newest App Store reviews with text, people praise how easy it is to start, one balance across chains, free gas on Solana and the community feed. Common complaints: scam and rug-pull tokens, tokens that can't be sold, fees and minimums on small trades, slippage, lag or outages at busy times, and no stop-loss or limit orders on spot.
- Trustpilot: 2.0 from 11 reviews on an unclaimed profile, mostly about crashed or unsellable tokens.
- Many recent 5-star App Store reviews promote a single memecoin, so don't read 5-star reviews as proof.

Who Fomo is for
Good for beginners and phone-first traders who want an easy way into on-chain tokens across several chains. Less suited to high-volume desktop traders who want the lowest fees and advanced order types. Comparing it with a trading terminal? Fomo vs Axiom.
