Where the cashback comes from
Fomo pays the owner of a referral code 25% of the trading fees of everyone who signs up with that code (Fomo: how referral codes and fee discounts work). The DEAL code owner passes half of that back to you: 12.5% of your fees. It isn't a Fomo program: Fomo's own benefit is the 10% discount, the same with every code. The code owner keeps the other half of the commission.
What the cashback is worth
| Traded in a month | No code | Any code | Cashback with DEAL | You pay with DEAL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $50.00 | $45.00 | $5.63 | $39.37 |
| $50,000 | $250.00 | $225.00 | $28.13 | $196.87 |
| $100,000 | $500.00 | $450.00 | $56.25 | $393.75 |
That's a net fee of about 0.394% per trade, about 21% less than the standard 0.50%. Full breakdown: DEAL fee cashback.
"Cashback" codes that don't pay cash back
A code's name doesn't create cashback. A code called "cashback", "rebate" or "100" gets exactly the same 10% from Fomo as any other code. Anything extra only exists if that code's owner pays it. Before you trust a cashback claim, check three things:
- Who pays it. Fomo's help center describes no cashback for users, so it has to come from the code owner.
- When it's paid. Look for a schedule, not "up to".
- Proof. Look for real payouts, not just a promise.
And Fomo's referral discount is 10%: codes promising 50% or 100% off don't match Fomo's terms.
How to get DEAL's cashback
- On the phone you'll trade on, open fomo.family/r/deal before you create an account.
- Install Fomo from the App Store or Google Play, or use fomo.family in the browser.
- Create your account. If a referral code box appears, type DEAL.
- After your first trade, the fee line shows 0.45%. Your cashback counts from that first trade.
A code can only be added at signup. If you signed up through the invite link and no referrer was recorded, Fomo's help center says to contact support from inside the app. Step by step: how to use a Fomo referral code.

Questions
Is there a Fomo referral code with cashback?
Yes: DEAL. It gets Fomo's 10% fee discount like every code, and the code owner also pays back 12.5% of the Fomo fees you pay, in USDC.
Does Fomo itself give cashback?
Not according to Fomo's help center: Fomo's sign-up benefit is 10% off trading fees with any referral code. DEAL's cashback is paid by the code owner, out of the referral commission Fomo pays them.
How much cashback does DEAL give?
12.5% of the Fomo fees you pay on spot and perps trades, in USDC. On $10,000 traded in a month, that's about $5.63.
When is DEAL cashback paid?
Every month whatever the amount, and weekly at the weekend once your unpaid balance reaches 50 USDC. The first monthly payout is in the first week of November 2026.
Can I get cashback on an existing Fomo account?
No. A referral code can only be added at signup, so the cashback is for new accounts that sign up with DEAL.
Is a code called "cashback" the same thing?
No. A code's name doesn't change what Fomo gives: every code gets the same 10%. Extra cashback only exists if the code's owner pays it, with terms and proof you can check.
